Biography »Brian, owner and publisher of Coffee News for South Mississippi, moved to the Gulf Coast with his wife Yvonne and their young son while serving in the Air Force. After a 20-year military career, he bought the first Coffee News franchise in the state. A strong advocate for "Shop Local, Shop Small," Brian helps small businesses grow through local advertising. Guided by 'always learning,' he shares innovative ways to promote businesses and foster community growth.
In 1998, Brian introduced BNI (Business Network International) to the Gulf Coast, enhancing word-of-mouth referrals for small businesses. He held various roles in BNI, including Assistant Director and Area Director. Now, as the Area Director for AmSpirit Business Connections, Brian plans to expand a network of chapters across the Gulf Coast, providing resources for small businesses to grow. He aims to achieve this by partnering with strong leaders and launching one chapter at a time.
